Melly the Dugong

Once again, we had a very special encounter with Melly, our dugong, who regularly visits us. Of course, it goes without saying: wild animals should not be touched. But Melly seeks contact on her own. If you don’t pet her, she playfully taps with her fins to get attention. In the video, you can see her resting on a diver’s fins—and she’s only satisfied once she’s being stroked. Important: Melly is neither fed nor lured—she comes to us voluntarily. These experiences with her are simply unique and touching.
